The pioneer of commercial wind energy says it will reduce emissions by at least 82% by 2035, relative to 1990 levels.
The country says it'll reduce greenhouse gas emissions by between 59% and 67% by 2035, relative to 2005 levels.
"The swift changes in Pakistan's energy landscape serve as a wake-up call to governments worldwide: adapt swiftly or risk being left behind by market forces."
This means the bloc's emissions have declined 37% since 1990, while its economy has grown 68% over the same period.
NESO's analysis shows that clean technologies will be able to produce at least as much power as Great Britain consumes in total in 2030. 
The rapid growth in clean energy generation has been sufficient to offset a surge in power demand caused by late-summer heatwaves.
The technology accounted for 81% of all new power capacity added in the third quarter of 2024.
